• If hand washing is necessary, use cold water and a very mild detergent.
• Do not soak for a long time.
• Do not wring or twist the saree.
• Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
• Handle the tassels gently while washing.
• Dry in shade and avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
• Iron on low heat, preferably from the reverse side.
• Use a protective cotton cloth while ironing the zari.
• Store completely dry in a soft cotton/muslin cloth.
• Keep away from moisture and humidity while storing.
